We are a small, pioneering winery based in Gardabani, in the Kvemo Kartli region — an area not traditionally known for winemaking, but one we aim to revive. While our roots are firmly planted here, we source grapes from carefully selected, top wine-producing regions across Georgia as part of our mission to explore and showcase the country’s finest terroirs.

Lomiskareli is a family-founded winery, built on shared values, deep roots, and a passion for Georgian wine. Behind the project stands the Svimonishvili family — a strong Georgian family dedicated to quality and closely connected to the land.

At the heart of the team and a key supporter of the project is Mikheil Svimonishvili — an experienced entrepreneur with decades of leadership across some of Georgia’s most prominent food and beverage enterprises, including Nabeghlavi, Marneuli Food Factory, and the Swiss Agricultural School Caucasus. A former Minister of Agriculture of Georgia, he brings strategic vision, deep sector expertise, and strong partnerships both locally and across Europe.
